This is a super delicious and traditional sweet bread, it takes it’s name from Easter festival! You wouldn’t know how easy is it to make a breaded dough! Good thing about this easter bread a like cake is, you wouldn’t need to add too much sugar since it has raisins in it. This pastry can be found in most local pastries in Turkey- Istanbul. But with this recipe you can easily make this delicious cake at home! Even more delicious with the walnuts on it. If you wish, you can garnish with any other dry fruits you want! Trick for the golden color of this special cake is the egg yolks we brush on them. If you are not a big fan of raisins, you can also bake without, but you might need to add a little bit more sugar. Also It is very important to use real bıologıcal butter for great flavor. Also it is an important to point to use yeast and let the dough rest for an hour for yeast to activate.
