Turkish Kebab Recipe – Eggplant Puree with Ground Beef

Here is another verey famous Turkish Kebab Recipe! It is grilled eggplant puree with yogurt, served Turkish style with a delicious ground beef kebab. Also called Ali Nazik Kebab Recipe! It is very popular in Turkey and very similar to Hünkar Beğendi Kebab, which is also made with grilled eggplants. Since the eggplants are grilled, this is a very healthy recipe as well! Don’t forget to let eggplants stay in salty water after you grill them, that helps a lot to remove the bitter taste off the eggplants. Wash and dry eggplant. Pierce it a few times with a fork to vent. Grill them until very soft Wait a few minutes to cool down and discard the charred skin Prepare a big bowl of water mixed with salt and lemon juice Keep the peeled eggplants in this water, to avoid the bitter taste Let the eggplant sit in water for 30 minutes and drain the water Would be much better if you don’t spill water all around the counter =)) Mince the eggplants Cook the gound meat in a large pot Put the pan lid on and let it cook until the juice come out It’s still red! It should look like this! Add the minced onions Cook for another 10 minutes Add diced tomatoes and italian peppers And cook 5 miore minutes! Now you can add tomato paste, black pepper, red pepper and salt! Cook for 5 minutes more without the lid Warm up the eggplants on a large pan Mix the yogurt, garlic and salt in a large bowl Mix with the eggplants you warmed up
Here is the list of ingredients for the Turkish Ali Nazik Kebab Recipe:

Potato and Hot Dog Frittata – A Must Try!

Potatoes, eggs & hot dogs , an Italian childhood classic that fed generations and still hits every time. Sure, it’s not fancy… but ask anyone who grew up on this and they’ll pick it over filet mignon any day. Bonus points if you eat it in a sandwich by the beach like a true Italian (I swear it tastes even better at the beach) it’s such a humble thing but I think many many cultures relate to how special dishes like these really are for the soul! Approx recipe and instructions below! 3 medium size russets, peeled and thinly sliced 4 to 6 hot dogs (all beef for me) slices up 6 eggs Plenty of grated parm Plenty of S&P Olive oil I like cooking the potatoes in some olive oil over medium heat until they are about half way cooked (season them with a pinch of salt and pepper) then once there, add the hot dogs and continue cooking until the potatoes are fully cooked, add in the whisked egg and cheese mixture and cook until golden and set on the bottom, I use a fish spatula to kind of “slice it” into 1/4 pieces so it’s easier to flip but honestly this DOES NOT have to be perfect, it’s rustic home food. Cook until fully set then sprinkle more parm and enjoy every single bite!
